Lawyering Beyond
Acknowledgement of Country
We respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation and pay respect to their Elders past and present. We recognise the ongoing connections to the land, the sky, the sea and waterways. We would like to acknowledge the lands that we are working and benefiting from were stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded. As allies, we are making a commitment to listen, work with and amplify the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. This Always was and Always will be Aboriginal Lands.

Purpose:
The website is designed to act as an ant-racism toolkit for newly practicing lawyers in Australia. Understanding that racism is something that is inherent within the legal education and the colonial legal system, the website will provide young lawyers with the skills to not only be not racist, but to actively be anti-racist in their practice.
